Boris Johnson's love life has fascinated the country during his long political career. He has been married three times and has fathered seven children, not all of them with his wives.
The Prime Minister bowed to Cabinet pressure and resigned today (Thursday, July 7). He will remain as caretaker prime minister until Sunday, October 2, when a new prime minister is installed at the party's annual conference in Birmingham.
Johnson, considered to be one of the UK's most colourful politicians, will continue to reside at Number 11 Downing Street with his wife Carrie Symonds and their two children until then. Although Number 10 Downing Street is the Prime Minister's official abode, Johnson lives with his family in a four-bedroom flat above Number 11 Downing Street, choosing the Number 11 residence due to its larger living space.

Johnson has four children from a previous marriage with barrister Marina Wheeler. He has another daughter through Helen Macintyre, who he had an affair with while married to Ms Wheeler.
Johnson has previously been coy about the exact number of children he has fathered. This has drawn controversy and ire from BBC broadcaster Emma Barnett, as reported by Metro.
