Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed what goalkeeper Alisson Becker said after he was told Caoimhin Kelleher would be starting the Carabao Cup final.
The Reds went on to secure their first piece of silverware this season with a dramatic penalty shootout victory over rivals Chelsea at Wembley.
Klopp confirmed early that the Irishman would be lining up in the final over the club's No.1 and the Liverpool boss was certainly repaid for his trust as the 20-year-old made a number of crucial saves throughout the 120 minutes and scored the winning penalty in the shootout.
Alisson was full of support for his teammate when he was informed about the decision, in what was a classy response from the Brazilian.

Klopp told Bein Sports: "When we told Ali that Caoimhin will play, Ali said okay, that’s good, if we win it then we can put his head on the famous wall in the goalkeeper area at the AXA where all the keepers who won trophies with Liverpool are on.
“We can put him [Kelleher] on that as well. I hope the guy who is doing the painting is already on its way, because Caoimhin will be there as well.”
Kelleher started three of the matches on the route to the final as he missed the fourth round tie against Preston North End through illness and Alisson was recalled to the squad for the first leg of the semi-final against Arsenal.
But his contributions, including two penalty saves in a shootout against Leicester City at the quarter-final stage, earned him a start in the final showpiece.
The Ireland international revealed post-match what Klopp told him after he scored the winning penalty against Chelsea: "He [Klopp] just said 'well done for scoring the winning penalty, there's a wall with all the goalkeepers on who have won cups so now you can go on that.'
"I got close to a few when it came down to me I didn't even think I had scored the winning penalty.
"I'd forgotten I'd got the winning one. All the lads were class, I was just happy to score. It was more hit and hope. I got close to a few but all the penalties were very high quality thankfully we were able to win."
