Manchester United fans have been angered by the cost of tickets for the upcoming US pre-season tour fixture against Borussia Dortmund.
United announced this week that they would take on the Bundesliga giants at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, July 30. Tickets for the stateside clash were released on general sale today [Thursday, April 6] but the prices for the friendly have led to criticism.
Those wishing to attend the match in the desert will have to purchase their tickets through Ticketmaster but, at the time of writing, the cheapest tickets available will set supporters back $75. Tickets at this price can be found in the top tier of the 61,000-capacity venue.

Tickets closer to the action will set supporters back as much as a whopping $700. Such pricing has led to anger among supporters who were hoping to see the Reds in the US for the first time since 2018.
On Reddit, a section of supporters expressed their frustration:
Gattaca1usa: "Ridiculous that the ticket for the lower levels are going for $620 and the middle levels are going for $320 Ticketmaster, for a friendly. What a rip-off."
Arsewhistle: "Sorry, but paying $150 to watch almost any game, let alone a friendly, is just insane to me. Even $80 is mad, for a friendly; I guess this is why they do these tours though."
Fans on Twitter were also concerned by the price of admission:
Similar concern was raised among supporters last month when the tickets for United's match with Wrexham in San Diego were announced. More fixtures for the US pre-season tour are expected to be announced in due course.
