The Gavin Cromwell-trained Perceval Legallois might spark a double for owner J P McManus, ahead of his golfing extravaganza in Adare next week, in the Ladies Day Friday August 5th Maiden Hurdle in Wexford this evening.
Winner of a Gowran Park bumper on debut, the Ballingarry gelding has failed seven times over flights.
But he finished in the frame three times, including behind Auckland in Killarney in May and, last time, held every chance, disputing the lead when unshipping Simon Torrens at the third last flight of a maiden won by Don’t Tell Allen over this course and distance.
