The weather in Liverpool will stay wet and windy today, according to the Met Office.
The Met Office said the North West will see another day of wet and windy weather, with outbreaks of rain expected throughout the day. Any brightness in the morning will be short-lived, with darker clouds and higher chances of rain reaching Liverpool by the middle of the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain slightly warmer than expected, with highs of 11C. Wind speeds will also pick up towards the afternoon with speeds of around 19mph. Strongly gusts which could reach temperatures of over 30mph will make the temperature feel around 4C colder than it is.

Liverpool should expect a wet night with much higher chances of precipitation and colder temperatures. But by the morning it should clear and the region will see periods of sunshine. The Met Office predicted tomorrow, December 29 will be dry and windy with sunny spells. Temperatures will also drop slightly to around 7C.
Today's Met Office weather prediction for the whole of the North West said: "Any brightness in the north will be short-lived, with outbreaks of rain moving north during the morning. A generally wet afternoon, but turning drier by the evening. Becoming windy. Mild. Maximum temperature 10C."
