Weston McKennie has described the hamstring injury sustained by his fellow Leeds United and USA teammate Tyler Adams as a 'devastating' blow.
Adams was forced to withdraw from the latest USA squad after picking up the injury in training. Javi Gracia confirmed that Adams will see a specialist, and the midfielder stayed at Thorp Arch over the international break.
He missed the Whites' enthralling 4-2 victory over Wolves at Molineux last time out, and it remains to be seen whether he will be fit to feature against league leaders Arsenal on Saturday.

McKennie, who scored twice for USA in a 7-1 win over Grenada on the weekend, has sent his best wishes to his close friend and midfield partner.
“Devastating what happened, obviously. Hopefully he recovers quickly, and he can be back with us soon," McKennie told YouTube channel JER Sports Journalist.
Adams has been a regular fixture for Leeds since he arrived at Elland Road from RB Leipzig back in the summer. He has featured in all but three of the Whites' 27 Premier League games and has amassed 26 appearances in all competitions.
