One side of north London is in a frenzy after Weston McKennie sent a message to new Tottenham recruits Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Spurs have been heavily linked with a move for the midfielder since the summer and was one of Antonio Conte's targets in January as he looked for midfield reinforcements.
Sporting director Fabio Paratici even spoke to the American's representatives during the winter window about a potential move, but nothing materialised.
Tottenham would snap up McKennie's teammates Kulusevski and Bentancur instead, however, as the Turin club made wholesale changes over the course of the month.
Kulusevski has joined the north London side on an initial loan deal, with an option to buy, if certain criteria is met during the 18-month spell, while Bentancur would seal a £20million switch.

And McKennie has hinted he could follow in their footsteps as he took to Instagram to give them his best wishes following their move to Spurs.
For the Swedish international's goodbye, the USA international said: "Good luck homie imma miss you."
And when it came to the message for Bentancur, the midfielder wrote: "Wish you all the best bro. You and kulu take care of each other!! See you soon."
Spurs fans hope 'see you soon' is an indication of what's to come for McKennie as Conte is expected to reignite his interest at the end of the season.
But it's believed he is one of Massimiliano Allegri's key players so a deal could be difficult to orchestrate especially given the recent departures in his position such as Kulusevski and Bentancur.
Alternatively, the arrivals of Kulusevski and Bentancur could help convince McKennie that Spurs is the perfect landing spot for him, as well as the 23-year-old's prior relationship with Paratici who first brought him to Juventus on loan in 2020.
Former Tottenham keeper Brad Friedel has previously praised McKennie and reckons he would be a great fit for the Premier League given his physical style of football.
"Weston McKennie could play at any club in the Premier League right now," Friedel said last year. "He [McKennie] has that style of play, he's very physical, he's very fast, he's good in the air, good with his feet. He is a real talent."
