One of Leeds United's top priority signings for this January transfer window Weston McKennie has already opened up on the special relationship he has with Whites star Tyler Adams as a midfield pair.
Adams is a vital piece of manager Jesse Marsch's Leeds squad - some would even go as far as to say he's the heartbeat. But if he does arrive at Elland Road, McKennie will already have great team chemistry from the pair's time together in the US international squad.
The 24-year-old will also join World Cup teammate Brenden Aaronson if he joins from Juventus in the next few days, having already agreed personal terms and reportedly 'green-lit' the move to the Serie A giants.

During the World Cup, McKennie was asked to name the favourite player he has played with and despite playing alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala at Juventus, he picked Adams over them both when he spoke to Kwik Goal.
"I would probably have to say Tyler. There’s a history, there’s a background, we’ve shared kind of a similar story and we both… I feel like, when we’re both on the field together, we know we have each other’s back, no matter what comes.
"If he sees I get tackled dirty, he’s messing up that guy and if I see him get tackled dirty, I’m messing up that guy. It’s honestly crazy and it’s amazing in my head whenever I think about it. We just understand each other so well and we get along so well.
"Whenever you have that connection with someone, it’s better than any big name that may not do the same."
