Nicky Byrne injured himself after falling through the stage at Westlife’s latest concert.
The singer shared an update on his condition after fans were worried if he was okay. He posted a series of pictures and videos of the accident as he reassured everyone that he will return to performing, RSVP reports.
Nicky explained that the accident could have been worse, but thankfully he’s doing okay after the scary moment. He wrote: “Hey All, Thank you for all your well wishes! So last night I did have a little accident on stage in Glasgow, where I didn’t realise the mechanical stairs had opened behind me.

“A crazy moment which could have been a lot worse but I’m completely fine, a little bit battered and bruised but ok! I’ll see y’all back up there tonight. The show must go on. Thanks for all your well wishes. #ReallyFlyingWithoutWings”.
He signed off, writing: “Love Nicky”. The Westlife singer later posted clips that concertgoers captured of the incident, before sharing the large bruise he got on his side.
Nicky wrote: “Checked by the wonderful medics at the hydro - See you all again tonight Scotland”. Fans were delighted to see he was back on his feet as they advised him to take care of himself.
One person said: “Glad to know you're fine! Please be careful and take care, Nicky. Take a rest if you need it too”.
A second fan shared: “Glad to hear you‘re ok Nicky. Yeah you really fly without wings poor ya. Was shocking to see.
“Take care, we like to see you on stage for many more years. Rock the stage again tonight”.
A third person wrote: “Get well soon Nico! I saw and read it in the morning. Could have been worse. I know from what I speak.
“Had a femoral neck fracture years ago. Got a tweet from you this time when I was in rehabilitation and watching the ESC. Lots of love from Germany”.
A fourth fan added: “Oh god you got us all worried there, hope you're not to sore. Wish for a speedy recovery”.
With another writing: “We’ll be able to laugh at this in years to come dude! Glad you’re ok though”.
