Supporting the band will be singer songwriter LYRA, whose tracks include Falling, Never Let Go and New Day, and Lucien Moon - aka singer-songwriter Jamie Benkert.
This isn't the only time the 'Flying Without Wings' singers will be making their way to the Welsh capital city this year. In December, on the 11th and 12th, they will be bringing their The Wild Dreams tour to the Motorpoint Arena.
The Irish pop group started out as a five-piece band in 1998 in Dublin before becoming a foursome in 2004 after Brian McFadden left. Westlife is currently made up of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne, who are the record holders of the first band to achieve consecutive number one singles in the UK. They also have 11 number one albums, 16 number one singles and have sold over 55 million records. The group disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and reunited six years later in 2018 with a new five album and tour deal.
Tickets for Westlife's Cardiff Castle show can be found on Ticketmaster. For more information, see Depot Live's website.
