West Lothian vet comes to rescue of beloved dog who had swallowed rat poison

A West Lothian vet has been praised after saving the life of a dog which had swallowed rat poison.

Bramble, a two-year-old cocker spaniel, was referred as an emergency case to Linnaeus-owned Veterinary Specialists Scotland (VSS) in Livingston.

The vets are urging dog owners to be aware of the dangers of rat poison to pets.
