West Lothian police smash car window to rescue dog from boiling hot car

Police officers smashed the window of a car parked in a Livingston car park in a bid to to rescue a young, distressed dog from a boiling vehicle.

Police were called to Centre Livingston after concerned shoppers attempted to rescue a dog, who was trapped in a hot car without air or water.
