Police in West Lothian have launched an urgent appeal to locate a missing woman last seen in the early hours.
Officers in the area issued a statement on Sunday evening to trace 37-year-old Shona Macpherson, who was last seen in the Broxburn area.
Asking anyone with information to get in touch, police said Shona was last seen leaving an address on Dunn Street, Broxburn, around 2..40am on Sunday, 8 January.

From Uphall, Shona is described as white and Scottish, 5ft 7, medium build, with brown hair. When last seen, she was wearing blue jeans, a black gym king jumper with a snood covering her face and head Black gazelle shoes.

Constable Daniel McLaughlin said: “Shona is well known in the Broxburn area and is likely to be local, however, she may have links to the wider West Lothian area.
“There are concerns for her welfare, so we ask anyone who may have seen her, or who has any information on her whereabouts, to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0464 of 8 January.”
