A West Lothian mum says she was forced to leave a bus with her baby daughter after an old man 'swore at them'.
Khloe Mcdonald, 21, from Bathgate, was travelling on a bus in Livingston with her one-year-old daughter Darcey when the distressing incident occurred.
She alleges that an inebriated elderly man first started to speak to her daughter while they were waiting at the bus stop in Livingston Central. While standing nearby, he reportedly said to the one-year-old: "you better behave yourself you greeting faced wee b******".
Shocked, but worried the drunk man could be dangerous if she reacted, the mum-of-one decide to ignore the rude comments and get on the bus.
Unfortunately the ordeal didn't end there as her daughter's crying sparked the old man to continue to allegedly shout at the baby and fire threats at the one-year-old.
Eventually the afraid mother had enough and was forced to leave the bus with her daughter because of the uncomfortable atmosphere.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Khloe said: "I got on a bus from Livingston Centre and they were at the bus stop and to start with they were both obviously pure drunk and they were talking to my wee girl who is one, her name is Darcey.
"They were talking to her and the man was like 'aw you better behave yourself this time, you better not be a greeting face wee b*****' and all that.
"So I just ignored them then we got on the bus and obviously my daughter hadn't slept all day so she was a little bit gurney, it's a forty minute bus trip so any child would be gurney on it.
"The man was shouting so she started to get upset, I was just ignoring it then he was shouting 'shut up' and 'stop your whinging' and I kept ignoring it.
"Then she got really upset and I think the shouting was aggravating her then he was like 'she better shut her f***** mouth or I'm, going to f****** do her in.'"

She continued: "The old man was trying to stand up on the bus and come over but his wife was trying to stop him and push him back down.
"Like he was obviously going to come over to us as he continued to shout I'm 'going to f****** do her in.
"My child was getting even more upset, so I stood up and started shouting back it was a mother's instinct to defend her and then I stopped the bus and got off.
"He never got chucked off even though the whole bus was standing up for us and shouting at him but my daughter is too young to be around that so I took her off the bus.
"As we got off the bus he was staring at me out the window really aggressively.
"I put it on Facebook and there have been a few other mums that have experienced the same thing with him."
