Disabled parking bays are routinely being used by drivers without blue badges in West Lothian, with 20 tickets handed out in the last fortnight.
And people with disabilities are facing a barrage of abuse from motorists when they confront culprits, a meeting heard.
That was clear at meetings of the full council, and a Livingston local area committee this week when police confirmed regular ticketing of drivers.
