A West Lothian dad-of-two has told how is life has been “devastated” after being paralysed for life by a teen driver who had just passed his test.

Jacob Varey was given six penalty points and a £600 fine after causing a crash that left Gordon Alexander unable to walk again.

He was sentenced on Tuesday after he plead guilty to driving without due care and attention.
