West Lothian council staff get extra holiday for coronation

King Charles III West Lothian

West Lothian council employees will get an additional day’s leave to mark the coronation of King Charles.

The council’s executive today agreed to “ a shut down” of all but essential services over the weekend May 6 to 8 to mark the coronation of King Charles on Saturday May 6.

Council staff will get an extra day's holiday on Monday, May 8.
