A second round West Lothian derby battle between Broxburn Athletic and Whitburn was the standout tie as the draw was made for the first and second rounds of the South Challenge Cup. The two sides met in the same competition last season with the Brox winning a thriller 3-2 at Central Park.
With 163 teams vying for the trophy, it’s the largest cup competition in the country with all 12 non-league West Lothian sides taking part.
There’s a derby fixture in the first round as Harthill Royal are at home to Blackburn United with East of Scotland Third Division sides Stoneyburn and West Calder United both handed home draws as they will take on Edinburgh United and Tweedmouth Rangers.
