A West Lothian sports club is set to receive a £100,000 boost from sportscotland.
Murieston Tennis and Sports Club are to handed the investment thanks to the organisation’s Sports Facilities Fund. The cash will be put to good use with the club creating a multi-sport hub comprising of three full-size tennis courts and a multi-sports hub.
To be situated adjacent to Livingston Cricket Club, the hub will provide more opportunities for participation in sport and physical activity.
Sports including tennis, cricket, basketball and netball will be offered through come and try sessions with free equipment available.
Welcoming the investment, Andy Bull, Chairman and Project Manager of from Murieston Tennis and Sports Club, said: “We are delighted to have received such substantial funding from sportscotland, who have generously backed our project.”
