West Ham transfer target Jonathan Rowe provided a timely reminder of his quality with a quite brilliant solo goal for Norwich on Friday night.
The young winger was in typically excellent form as David Wagner's side ran out 2-1 winners away at promotion rivals Hull in the Championship.
The scoreline was level at 0-0 10 minutes before the interval when Rowe won possession for Norwich inside the centre circle and proceeded to charge forward, showing dazzling feet as he beat a number of players before weaving his way to the edge of the penalty area and picking out the bottom corner with an inventive falling finish.
It was a terrific individual effort from England Under-21 international Rowe, who has established himself as one of the EFL's brightest young talents during a breakout campaign with the Canaries in which he has scored 12 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions so far.

"Obviously you're in the moment, so when I'm dribbling I'm trying to assess my options," Rowe told Sky Sports when asked to sum up his latest goal. "I was about to slide Josh (Sargent) again, but they kind of closed him off so I kind of took matters into my own hands and finished the job."
Any watching scouts at the MKM Stadium cannot fail to have been impressed by Rowe's latest impressive display as transfer rumours continue to swirl around the 20-year-old.
Standard Sport understands that West Ham have been monitoring the player as they focus on home-grown talents where possible having also taken an interest in Sunderland's former Tottenham winger Jack Clarke, as well as overseas options such as ex-Spurs star Steven Bergwijn at Ajax as David Moyes scrambles to respond after injuries sustained by the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio.
However, the Hammers are not considering a return to the London Stadium for out-of-contract former loan favourite Jesse Lingard.
Tottenham and Aston Villa are among the other clubs to have been linked with Rowe, who does not seem short on suitors this month as play-off chasing Norwich try to hold on to him until at least the summer.
