Vladimir Coufal’s future
Vladimir Coufal has been linked with an exit on multiple occasions recently, with Sky in Germany suggesting that he had held talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a potential January exit. However, football.london understands that not to be the case.
Over the weekend, Football Insider reported that West Ham would allow Coufal to leave the club in January should they receive an offer of £6million for the Czech Republic international.
However, football.london understands that West Ham are not currently actively looking to let Coufal leave the club this winter.
Koni de Winter links
One of two players linked with interest from West Ham recently is Juventus defender Koni de Winter, who is currently out on loan with Empoli in Serie A.
The Belgian, who played twice for Juventus in the Champions League last season, has reportedly attracted the interest of West Ham, Southampton and three other clubs, according to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport.
However, despite West Ham likely to be adding to their defensive ranks in January, football.london understands that he is not a player currently on the club’s watchlist.
Jhon Duran links
West Ham are also one of four Premier League clubs linked with 18-year-old Colombian striker Jhon Duran alongside Manchester United, Liverpool, and Everton.
The Sun have reported that the forward, who can also play out wide, has been advised to ‘join a smaller club’, having been linked with United and Liverpool at first.
Football.london understands that the teenager, who scored eight goals in 27 MLS games for Chicago Fire last season, is like De Winter, not currently being looked at by the Hammers.
