West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen missed the 1-0 win over Silkeborg in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night due to a concern over an ankle injury.
The four-time England international, who has scored three goals and had started in the Hammers’ seven previous matches this month, was a surprise omission from the squad in the win over Silkeborg where Manuel Lanzini’s first-half penalty at the London Stadium booked West Ham's place in the Round of 16 in the competition.
Speaking after the game, Moyes confirmed that Bowen’s absence was due to injury, making him a doubt for Sunday’s trip to Manchester United.

"Jarrod Bowen had a bit of an ankle injury," Moyes said. "I will asses it tomorrow, see how he is. I don’t know yet, I don’t think it’s too bad but we will see tomorrow."
Bowen’s absence adds to an injury list that includes centre-back Craig Dawson (leg), winger Maxwel Cornet (calf) and midfielder Lucas Paqueta (collarbone) who all missed the Silkeborg clash.
However, centre-back Nayef Aguerd did feature for the first time since suffering an ankle injury over three months ago.
