West Ham United have now discovered how many of their players will and will not be on international duty this month.
Due to Manchester City’s involvement in this weekend’s FA Cup quarter-finals, West Ham do not have a Premier League game for another 15 days when they host Southampton, who are currently bottom of the table.
For a number of Hammers players, they will embark on a period of rest, while 19-West Ham owned players, including academy prospects, will be on international duty in the coming weeks.

Of the 19, ten of them are out of David Moyes’ 23-man squad of senior players at present.
Captain Declan Rice is in the England squad to face Italy and Ukraine in qualification for the 2024 European Championships. Winger Jarrod Bowen was left out just hours before scoring twice against AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
There is a surprise in the Czech Republic squad. Right-back Vladimir Coufal has missed the Hammers’ last five matches with a heel injury. However, he and midfielder Tomas Soucek are both in the 24-man squad for Euro 2024 qualifiers against Poland and Moldova.
Italian striker Gianluca Scamacca has been named in Italy’s squad to face England and Malta in European qualifying matches, despite his struggles for minutes in recent months. Left-back Emerson, who has recently cemented his place ahead of Aaron Cresswell in the team, was surprisingly left out of Italy’s squad. However, he was handed a late call-up after an injury to Inter Milan's Federico Dimarco.
Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta and fellow big money centre-back Nayef Aguerd would face each other in a friendly when Brazil take on Morocco. The African nation will also take on Peru in a friendly three days earlier.
French goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, German defender Thilo Kehrer and academy goalkeeper Krisztian Hegyi (Hungary) will also be involved in Euro 2024 qualifiers for their countries.
However, left wing duo Said Benrahma and Maxwel Cornet have both been left out of their African Cup of Nations qualifiers for Algeria and Ivory Coast respectively.
There are also call-ups for on-loan duo Nikola Vlasic and Arthur Masuaku for Croatia and Democratic Republic of Congo respectively.
