Alphonse Areola - Made a number of routine first-half saves and repaid David Moyes' faith in sticking with him in Europe, nothing he could do about Munir's goal. 6
Ben Johnson - More than held his own in the biggest game of his career. Excellent in defence and got forward on occasion when possible. 7
Craig Dawson - Gave the ball away on occasion but strong in the air and solid alongside Zouma. 7
Kurt Zouma - Played the ball out of defence nicely and looked composed under the Sevilla press. Put in a number of superb blocks and tackles. 7
Aaron Cresswell - Wasted a couple of set-pieces but was otherwise in good form. 6
Tomas Soucek - Looked back to near his best, covered every blade of grass as always getting forward well to support Antonio and back to protect the defence. 7
Declan Rice - Fantastic return to the team from Rice who sat in front of the back four and made a number of vital interceptions and blocks. 8
Manuel Lanzini (off 83')- Did not quite get the space to create many chances for West Ham but was good in possession when linking defence and attack. 6
Pablo Fornals- (off 90) - Uncharacteristically gave the ball away in the build-up to Munir's goal, had looked bright at times but a little lax in possession at times. 5
Nikola Vlasic (off 67') - Given the nod over Said Benrahma but failed to capitalise early on when he missed a glorious first-half chance to open the scoring. 6
Michail Antonio - Played more centrally than in recent weeks where he has tended to drift wide. Looked a threat on the occasions he ran at the Sevilla backline.
Subs:
Said Benrahma (on 67') - An improvement on Vlasic with his willingness to run at the backline. 6
Mark Noble (on 83') - n/a
Arthur Masuaku (on 90') - n/a
