West Ham player ratings vs Crystal Palace: Mohammed Kudus continues rise but Konstantinos Mavropanos costly

West Ham let two points slip at the London Stadium as Konstantinos Mavropanos's error allowed Crystal Palace to snatch a 1-1 draw.

The home side led through Mohammed Kudus's 13th-minute strike but were pegged back when Mavropanos's back-pass was pounced upon by Odsonne Edouard.

The result means David Moyes's side missed out on the chance to climb into the Premier League's top eight ahead of the midweek trip to Tottenham.

Here's how David Moyes's side rated at the London Stadium...

Alphonse Areola 6

Barely had a save to make but clean sheets continue to escape the Frenchman.

Vladimir Coufal 7

Five league assists already this season, reborn as an attacking force.

Konstantinos Mavropanos 4

Handed a start with Kurt Zouma absent due to a family matter but gifted Palace their leveller with dreadful pass.

Nayef Aguerd 6

Long-range passing is superb. Solid enough defensively.

Emerson 5

Left hobbling after rolling his ankle and pinned back at times by the bright Michael Olise. Couldn't keep a volley down when picked out by Paqueta.

Edson Alvarez 5

Sold horribly short for Palace's equaliser by a Mavropanos pass, but was guilty of the same blunder himself minutes later before being bailed out.

James Ward-Prowse 6

Played a brilliant switch to leave Palace stretched in the build-up to opener. Booked.

Mohammed Kudus 8

Started and finish the move for opening goal. Looks a better signing with each passing week.

Tomas Soucek 6

Air-kick from an offside position saw a second Kudus goal chalked off.

Lucas Paqueta 6

Unusually loose in possession but influence grew once switched inside and made a fine chance for Emerson.

Jarrod Bowen 5

Back after a minor knee problem but looked a little short of sharpness and well dealt with by Marc Guehi. Missed a glorious chance to win it with a header.

Substitutes
