West Ham United came from behind to hold London rivals Chelsea to a crucial point at the London Stadium.
Joao Felix had given the Blues an early lead, with Emerson cancelling it out by scoring his first league goal for West Ham against his former club.
Here is how football.london’s West Ham United writer Jonty Colman rated the Hammers’ players against Chelsea.

Lukasz Fabianski
There was the strong hope that goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski would avoid an injury, with third choice Joseph Anang and academy stopper Krisztian Hegyi on the bench and Alphonse Areola sidelined. Got a lucky reprieve when Felix chipped him and scored after initially hitting the post, only for the flag to go up. Little he could do about Felix's opener and again, got lucky when Kai Havertz's goal, Chelsea's third time putting it in the net, was ruled out for a fractional offside. He did make two good first half stops, one to tip a Felix free-kick wide and the other, getting a firm palm to Noni Madueke's curling effort. Less to do in the second half, but met what was required, including cutting out some crucial low crosses. 7
Thilo Kehrer
Ahead of the game, manager David Moyes described Thilo Kehrer's injury sustained at Newcastle United as a "problem." Despite that, Kehrer kept his place on the right side of the back three and started against Chelsea, keeping his place in the starting side. A lot of Chelsea's joy came from playing balls over the top of Kehrer, but often, they were soon pulled up as being offside. More improved in the second half, although one or two forays forward led to him being at risk of getting caught out at the back. Ended the game really well. 7
Angelo Ogbonna
Angelo Ogbonna has been in a good run of form recently and started in the heart of the back three. Italian Ogbonna showed his experience in the heart of the back line, made a few crucial interventions and often put his body on the line, with Chelsea's mega-money forward line testing him often. 7
Nayef Aguerd
Moroccan international and £30million defender Nayef Aguerd kept his place on the left of the back three after a starring role a week ago in the draw against Newcastle United. Could perhaps have been blamed after Felix's opener, with him being the nearest defender to the attacker when he scored. Did not put much of a foot wrong after that and really impressed in the second half, making another of his fast-becoming trademark last-ditch tackles on Felix to stop him making it 2-1. Forced off late on with an injury. 7
Vladimir Coufal
Czech Republic defender Vladimir Coufal looked a threat with the amount of cross he was able to get into the box and it was off one of the them where West Ham levelled before half-time, with a short cross getting flicked on by Jarrod Bowen before Emerson levelled against his former side. Good after the break, too, although he was booked for being beaten once by Mykhalio Mudryk. Showed an intent to get forward throughout and a lot to like, on the whole. 7
Lucas Paqueta
Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta scored his first West Ham goal from open play at Newcastle United a week ago, but was unable to build on that. He went down injured within the opening minutes, holding his collarbone, having suffered an injury in a similar area earlier this season. Of his short stint on the pitch, much of it was spent injured, replaced by Tomas Soucek before 15 minutes had passed. N/A
Declan Rice
The big talk on the pitch ahead of kick-off was that Declan Rice, who Moyes has described as being a future British record transfer fee holder coming up against Enzo Fernandez, who recently broke the record with an £107million move to Stamford Bridge. Rice did a lot right in the midfield battle and especially in the first half, snuffed out Fernandez on a couple of occasions. Perhaps less effective after the break, but still good, needed his resolve in midfield, especially after losing Paqueta so early on. 7
Emerson (Star man)
With Kurt Zouma out injured, left wing-back Emerson was the only ex-Chelsea player at senior level to play against his former employers. One of his best games in a West Ham shirt. Not just with his instinctive first half goal, but he also ranked highly for tackles and was a constant outlet on the left side. Would have justified a lot of his £12million price tag with his goal alone. 7
Jarrod Bowen
Jarrod Bowen's recent form of three goals in three games has been a sign of him getting back to his best in front of goal, eager to avenge the memories of a rather soft foul given against him versus Chelsea in the reverse fixture, that ultimately cost his side a point on the day. A first assist of the season for Bowen in the first half as his flicked header put Emerson through on goal. A live wire constantly and was a threat for Chelsea's back line. Continuing a run of form. 7
Michail Antonio
Striker Michail Antonio has two goals and an assist to his name in his last three appearances against Chelsea, something he would have hoped to build on after improvement in recent games, including a goal in the win at Derby County in the FA Cup. Had West Ham's only chance of note before Emerson's goal with a clever flick off a Bowen crossing forcing a save out of Kepa Arrizabalaga. Worked his socks off, battled and pressed and deserving of his place in the side at present. 7
Said Benrahma
Algerian winger Said Benrahma has had a dip of form as of late, but this season he has been among West Ham's best attacking players across the campaign as a whole. Not his best performance so far and was the first player taken off, with Antonio, that Moyes had a say over. The odd flash in the first half, but unable to truly strut his stuff. Perhaps unlucky not to be picked out at times. 5
Substitutes
Tomas Soucek
Tomas Soucek's introduction came just minutes before Felix was on hand to score the opening goal of the tie. Full of controversy in the game. Thought he had scored a late winner, only for it to be ruled out with him and Rice offside at Rice's initial header. Minutes later, he blocked a Conor Gallagher shot with his hand. Perhaps very fortunate not to see it get checked. Offered a lot at set-pieces. 6
Danny Ings
Danny Ings came on up front with just under 25 minutes to go for his second home appearance in a West Ham shirt. Won the odd foul, but did not a lot else. 5
Flynn Downes
There was also an extended run out in the Premier League for midfielder Flynn Downes, with his introduction alongside Ings leading to a change to 3-5-2. Did not see too much of the ball, with West Ham largely defending while he was on. 5
Ben Johnson
With Aguerd forced off injured with ten minutes to go, Ben Johnson was forced on to add some important late defending. Contributed with some crucial blocks. N/A
