West Ham on TV: How to watch August TV fixtures - schedule, kick-off times and channels

West Ham face a stern test of their top-four credentials when Manchester City visit the London Stadium on Sunday.

David Moyes’ side held City to a 2-2 draw in the penultimate game of 2021/22 and will have been buoyed by the champions’ initial teething problems bedding in new signing Erling Haaland.

Haaland cut an isolated figure in the Community Shield defeat to Liverpool last weekend and the Irons will be hoping the opening league fixture comes too soon for Pep Guardiola to rectify City’s misfiring attack.

The clash is one of three West Ham games that has been earmarked for live coverage in August.

Football.london has details of how you can catch them all.

Sunday, August 7: West Ham vs Manchester City (4.30pm kick-off)

Sunday will be all about Haaland as far as Sky Sports are concerned which will perhaps allow David Moyes’ side to go under the radar somewhat. West Ham won their opening game of 2021/22, Manchester City lost theirs. What price a repeat?

You can watch it on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra.

Sunday, August 14: Nottingham Forest vs West Ham (2pm kick-off)

Will Forest’s top-flight return be in the spirit of Leeds United; fearless and all-guns blazing or will it be more Norwich; limp and lacklustre?

You can find out by following the match on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra.

Wednesday, August 31: West Ham vs Tottenham (7.45pm kick-off)

The Irons’ home clash with Brighton on Sunday August 21 and their trip to Aston Villa the following Sunday (both 2pm kick-offs) have both failed to whet the appetites of the broadcasters.

Therefore, their only other live action in August comes as part of a full schedule of midweek Premier League fixtures at the end of the month.

Moyes’ side won the corresponding fixture 1-0 last season in the penultimate game of Nuno Espirito Santo’s Tottenham reign. The game can be watched live on BT Sport 2.
