West Ham duo picked in team of the week alongside Man City, Arsenal and Manchester United stars

Former West Ham United manager Harry Redknapp has selected two Hammers players in his latest Premier League team of the week.

David Moyes' men beat Fulham 3-1 on Sunday after going a goal down early, only for Jarrod Bowen, Gianluca Scamacca, and Michail Antonio to turn the tie around and secure three points.

It was the second win a row for West Ham after a slow start to the Premier League season and a number of players stood out over the weekend.

With so many to choose from, Redknapp opted to highlight the performances of Craig Dawson, who won the penalty to bring the scores level, and Italian forward Scamacca who scored the goal to put the Hammers ahead.

Speaking to BetVictor, the ex-boss said that Dawson was someone Moyes could rely on and pointed how dangerous the defender is in attack and defence.

“He's such a danger in both penalty boxes," said Redknapp. "He won West Ham their penalty with some clever movement at a corner, and at the back, he was pretty solid throughout. He's someone David Moyes can rely on, that's for sure.”

On Scamacca, who has found the back of the net in back-to-back games for the first time since joining from Sassuolo this summer, Redknapp added that his chip over Bernd Leno was "lovely" and that he would keep an eye on Scamacca in the games to come.

“VAR had to be looked at, but rightfully so, his goal stood. A lovely little clip over the keeper it was as well. He caused Fulham problems all afternoon. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him this season," he said.
