In what appears to be a switch to a 3-5-2 formation, Alphonse Areola comes back into the side in goal, continuing his record as one of only two players to start all 11 games in Europe this season.
Ben Johnson and Nayef Aguerd both come into the starting 11 and play alongside Angelo Ogbonna in the back three, with Emerson coming in at left wing-back and Vladimir Coufal keeping his place on the right.
Manuel Lanzini, like Areola, makes his 11th European start of the season in a midfield three with Declan Rice and Flynn Downes.
Danny Ings starts up front in his first European start since October 2015 in the Europa League for Liverpool, playing alongside Jarrod Bowen.
Midfielder Lucas Paqueta is back in the squad after missing the trip to Craven Cottage with a minor foot injury, he only makes the bench and is joined by teenage striker Divin Mubama. Lukasz Fabianski, Kurt Zouma, Aaron Cresswell, Tomas Soucek, Pablo Fornals and Michail Antonio also drop to the bench.
Italian striker Gianluca Scamacca remains sidelined with a knee injury which has kept him out of the last two games.
