West Ham confirmed team news as David Moyes makes two changes to face AZ Alkmaar

West Ham United boss David Moyes has named his side to face AZ Alkmaar in the Europa Conference League at the London Stadium.

The Hammers will look to seal a win in the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final against their Dutch opponents, having gone unbeaten in this season’s competition so far this term.

As the Irons look to earn a first leg advantage heading into next weeks’ second leg in Alkmaar, Moyes has made two changes from the side that sealed a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

As expected, one change does come in goal where Alphonse Areola starts for the 13th time in Europe this season, the only West Ham player to start every match in the competition this season. With Areola starting, Lukasz Fabianski drops to the bench.

Centre-back Kurt Zouma is back in the squad after missing the last two matches with an ankle injury sustained in the defeat to Crystal Palace last month. He starts, with Angelo Ogbonna not in the squad.

Right-back Vladimir Coufal (hamstring) and striker Gianluca Scamacca (knee) both remain sidelined through injury.

Meanwhile, Alkmaar head coach Pascal Jansen has made one change from the side that drew 0-0 with Ajax on Sunday in the Eredivisie.
