West Ham confirmed 11: David Moyes makes eight changes to face Brighton and Thilo Kehrer decision

West Ham United boss David Moyes has named his side to face Brighton and Hove Albion at the London Stadium.

The Hammers will look to pick up their first win of the season in the Premier League when they take on the Seagulls, who have picked up four points from their opening two Premier League games against Manchester United and Newcastle United.

As the Irons aim to avoid defeat to for a third straight league game, Moyes has made eight changes to face Brighton from the side that beat Viborg 3-1 in the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off qualifying round first leg tie on Thursday night.

Not only does Moyes return to the touchline after being suspended for the first leg, captain Declan Rice and vice-captain Aaron Cresswell are both back in the starting side having been suspended on Thursday night.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski returns in place of Alphonse Areola as he returns to the bench, while Kurt Zouma returns at centre-back and is joined by Thilo Kehrer on his full debut.

Rice partners Tomas Soucek in the heart of midfield, with Rice making his first appearance since missing a penalty against Nottingham Forest a week ago.

In attack, Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals return to the trio behind Michail Antonio up front, with Manul Lanzini, Maxwel Cornet and Gianluca Scamacca all returning to the bench.

Nayef Aguerd (ankle) remains sidelined until mid-October, while Craig Dawson (thigh) is also sidelined.

Meanwhile, Brighton boss Graham Potter has named an unchanged side from the one that drew 0-0 with Newcastle United last weekend.
