West Ham have confirmed their sale of captain Declan Rice for a British transfer fee - but have done so without mentioning his destination: Arsenal.

The club are currently in Australia and this morning face off against Perth Glory in the first friendly of their pre-season tour, and before kick-off released a statement confirming the deal, along with a letter to fans from the midfielder.
