West Ham United’s under-21s face London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in a crucial relegation decider in Premier League 2.
The Hammers currently sit 11th in the 14-team league where the bottom two sides will get relegated to Division 2 of PL2, a league currently containing the likes of Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Leeds United.
Leicester City have already been relegated to Division 2 and have been confirmed as going down, sitting 13 points off safety with just two games remaining. However, the other spot will be taken by either London rivals West Ham or Spurs, who meet on Sunday afternoon at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy Stadium, kick-off at 12pm.

Currently, West Ham sit three points clear of the relegation zone ahead of their final game of the season, knowing a draw would guarantee their survival. However, due to their goal difference, a defeat by just one goal would also be enough to stay up.
Should Tottenham win by two goals, they would be level on both points and goal difference with West Ham (11th) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (12th), although Tottenham would be behind on goals scored, unless they were to win by two goals by scoring seven goals or more.
However, Tottenham would secure safety with a win of three goals or more, while West Ham would secure their safety with a defeat of two goals or less. When the two sides last met in November, Ollie Scarles’ free-kick sealed a 1-0 win for the Hammers.
Having picked up just two points from their first 11 PL2 matches of the season, Mark Robson’s side have been in improved form since, winning eight and drawing two of their last 14 league matches. Meanwhile, Tottenham go into the game having won just two of their last nine league matches.
