West Dunbartonshire’s housing officers want to reassure council tenants their safety is a priority following the death of a two-year-old exposed to a mouldy house in Rochdale.
Last week a coroner confirmed the death of Awaab Ishak in 2020 was from prolonged exposure to black mould in his family's flat. He died just eight days after his second birthday.
During the most recent housing and communities committee, West Dunbartonshire Council asked for reassurance that plans were being put in place to protect vulnerable residents in the community.
