A West Country mum-of-two was bitten by tick on family picnic and has now been left with a 'horrific' disease. She now wants to raise awareness about Lyme disease, which has taken over her life.
Olivera Marshall, from Brixham, contracted Lyme disease in 2020 and has spoken to DevonLive about the devastating symptoms. After contracting the illness, the pain was so intense she thought she was going to die.
Now she struggles with extreme tiredness and says she's no longer has a 'life at all'. She hopes by sharing her story she can warn others about the dangers of ticks.
