Chelsea's weekend will feel much better than Leicester City's, not only because of the result.
Hours before kick-off in this game week four contest, Blues target Wesley Fofana inadvertently confirmed his impending £70m plus move to SW6 with his tweet reply to Gary Lineker. He not only quote tweeted Lineker's tweet with three emojis, but he also replied with a classy message reading: 'Thanks, LEGEND [followed by two emojis].'
This message sequence came after the 21-year-old made his feelings well known via Instagram about Leicester holding firm on the asking price. Finally, the defender has got his wish and will be undergoing his medical on Sunday to complete his dream switch, which he believes will improve his World Cup chances for the Les Bleus squad.

On the pitch itself, the team managed on the sidelines by Arno Michels, who stood in temporarily for manager Thomas Tuchel, who was serving his one-match ban in the stands, managed to fight their way to a vital three points.
"This was by far better today as I had the chance to be in the dressing room before and at halftime. For Abu Dhabi, I was here at the training ground isolated," Tuchel said on his role during this match in his post-match press conference. "You cannot compare. I was in the stadium, I felt the atmosphere, I could see the team, the position to analyse the match was very good.
"Of course, it's unusual, and we don't need to do it again. It's unusual not to have the influence directly from the sideline, but we made the best of it. It was well organised, and I am happy that we got the win."

'Brendan Rodgers conceded that it was best for wantaway players to leave as quickly as possible after Leicester City finally neared agreement with Chelsea to sell Wesley Fofana for a deal worth around £75 million.
'While Leicester City's supporters made their feelings known during the club's defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge - repeatedly singing "Wes Fofana, what a w---er", the player himself messaged thanks to Gary Lineker after the club's former striker urged fans to show understanding.
'Leicester now have just one point from their opening four games and, amid the tension surrounding their poor start and the uncertainty over key players, they missed a golden opportunity here.'

'As Thomas Tuchel watched on from the stands at Stamford Bridge, his problems at Chelsea mounting before his eyes, Raheem Sterling's deflected shot looped in to offer some salvation. Sterling's first Premier League goal for Chelsea was soon followed by his second and came after the Blues were reduced to 10 men following Conor Gallagher's first-half red card, a moment that changed the game and raised the stakes of an early-season fixture in which both sides needed a result.
'Instead, despite Harvey Barnes pulling one back and Chelsea desperately hanging on, it added further pressure on Leicester and Brendan Rodgers after their third straight defeat.

'Raheem Sterling has always known how to make a big impression. His first two goals since joining Chelsea from Manchester City set up a much-needed victory for Thomas Tuchel's side despite a spirited late comeback from Leicester after Conor Gallagher was shown a red card in the first half.
'Sitting in the stands as he served a one-match touchline ban following his spat with his Tottenham counterpart, Antonio Conte, a fortnight ago, Tuchel could only watch in horror at the England midfielder's meltdown as he was sent off in only his second senior appearance for the club he joined at the age of eight.
'But while Leicester will feel aggrieved, they could not convert a hatful of chances in a frenetic finish after Harvey Barnes pulled one back, ultimately it was Sterling's goals in the space of 16 second-half minutes that settled this encounter.'

'Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher was Sent off just 28 minutes into his second-ever start for the Blues.
'Thomas Tuchel-less Chelsea welcomed Leicester City to Stamford Bridge, hoping to bounce back from last week's 3-0 loss to Leeds.
And academy product Gallagher was handed the chance to impress Tuchel and Co, starting in the middle of the park alongside Jorginho.
However, the England international, 22, was sent off for two yellow card offences.
Gallagher stepped across Foxes winger Harvey Barnes, breaking up an attack - leaving the referee with no choice but to show him his marching orders.

'At times, this would have made for very uncomfortable viewing for the banned Thomas Tuchel, watching from his seat in the stands, not least after Chelsea were reduced to 10 men following Conor Gallagher's early dismissal and then when Leicester halved the hosts' lead to set up a tense finish.
'The sight of him rocking back and forth in his seat nervously, hands over his mouth, shaking his head at one stage as Leicester pushed for an equaliser, underlined that.
'But the final outcome would have been a more than pleasant sight for the Chelsea boss, serving his suspension for his part in the touchline row with Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.
