A crowdsourced search for information about Cornell University student Winston Lee has crossed into South Korea, with social-media users calling on Korean netizens to help uncover his background.

Lee is one of seven current or former Cornell students named as defendants in a September civil lawsuit alleging a former student was drugged and sexually assaulted at the Chi Phi fraternity house in October 2024.
