Dating apps are often criticized for reducing romance to a split-second judgment based largely on appearance and bite-sized profile bio details.
Social media user Murray Hill recently tested the idea by using four different dating profiles of the same AI-generated woman, Becky, to see how small changes in looks and personality can affect male attention.
He said his test, which he called the “Becky Experiment,” was to see how “down bad” men have become and how much they are “willing to overlook” to match with a woman on a dating app.
