Welsh Women's Aid calls out Kanye West's behaviour towards Kim Kardashian

Kanye West's behaviour online towards ex wife Kim Kardashian has been called out by Welsh Women's Aid.

The charity, which aims to end domestic violence towards women and children, criticised the rapper over his behaviour towards his ex partner.

Kanye, who has formally changed his name to Ye, and Kardashian split back in 2021 and the reality TV star officially filed for divorce over a year ago.

The rapper has been posting messages about his estranged wife, the Mirror reports, including making public her personal texts – while also declaring his love for her and his wish to be reunited.

Earlier this month, Kanye shared a series of posts to his Instagram account that show private messages from Kim and new partner Pete Davidson, where she explicitly said by doing that it would compromise his safety.

Sharing screenshots of their discussions in since-deleted posts, Kanye shared chats where Kim warns: “U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault.”

A second message showed Kanye responding, prompting Kim to continue: “Well thank you. There are dangerous people out there and this is scary and it doesn’t have to be.”

The pair reportedly split in 2021, but Kanye has recently published a series of posts to his Instagram which Welsh Women's Aid said the public shouldn't "glamorise or romanticise" the behaviour ((Credit too long, see caption))

The charity works on both a local and national level to ensure women's safety from domestic violence.

Sophie Weeks, head of public affairs and communications at Welsh Women’s Aid, said: "It is so important not to glamorise or romanticise the continual pursuit of someone who has not consented to those advances.

"No matter anyone’s profile or celebrity status they are entitled to exist in any space, physical or virtual, without fear.
