Welsh university ranked best in UK for student life and teaching

Aberystwyth University United Kingdom Cardiff University Bangor University Loughborough University Birmingham Leeds University Nottingham Trent University Swansea University University College

A Welsh University has topped the list for student life and teaching in UK student-led national awards. Aberystwyth University took the crown for student life and also for teaching and lecturing quality in the WhatUni Student Choice Awards - the UK’s leading student-led university awards.

It also ranked third out of 10 for university of the year in the awards which rank the UK’s universities in a number of categories, according to students. This year 35,000 verified student reviews from more than 240 higher education institutions across the UK saw Aberystwyth and a number of other Welsh universities score highly.

Bangor University came eight out of 10 for university of the year while Cardiff University came third out of 10 for student life and Swansea University sixth in that category.
