Welsh rapper pens alternative World Cup song taking on Qatar's record of human rights abuses

Dafydd Iwan's Yma O Hyd, has become the soundtrack of Wales' World Cup journey. Incorporating the voices of The Red Wall, the '80s song has become huge over the recent months, but another artist has come up with his own Welsh battle-cry.

42-year-old rapper, Triple S, grew up in Llanishen and has been creating music for more than 20 years. A long time fan of Cardiff City and more recently of the national side, the rapper said he knew he had to create a track to commemorate this historic moment.

"I got in touch with a connection in music [Dubzta] back in September. I've done a few pieces with him and he's also from Cardiff. I asked him if he would make an instrumental for the World Cup for Wales and he got down to it," Triple S said. "He sent something over and that was pretty much it as you hear it now, so he did a great job."
