A Welsh mam was moved to tears as her daughter gifted her with a new puppy. A video capturing Wendy from Caernarfon's first meeting with her new golden retriever has gone viral on TikTok.
The video has garnered more than 133,000 views so far. The video shows Wendy's daughter, Delyth, handing her a big bag and tells her it is her "shopping". However, much to Wendy's surprise, she finds a small golden pup in the bag.
An emotional Wendy is brought to tears as she brings the dog out of the bag and holds him tightly in her arms and tells him in Welsh: "Oh come here, baby. Don't worry."

Speaking to WalesOnline her daughter Delyth explained why the meeting between the pup and his new owner was such an emotional one. She said: "Mum's dog, Inga, died in October 2021. She was 13 years old bless her.
"Mum couldn't stand having an empty house after she'd gone so I surprised her with a new little dog in December. The relief in her eyes says it all really".
According to Delyth the new dog is called Wil. She added: "He's a good little boy but he can be mischievous. My mum absolutely adores him. He is so cute."
