Well-respected Italian Edinburgh restaurant near the city centre hits the market

A restaurant and cafe unit has recently become available near the city centre of Edinburgh.

The venue located at 93 Dalry Road, just off Haymarket used to be the Italian Southern-styled eatery, Wine and Peach which has been closed since April 4.

Leasehold for the business is being advertised at £60,000 and rent at £1,200 with many business opportunities available for the unit with facilities and equipment for a takeaway already in place.

The eatery's maximum capacity is 28 covers and has recently been refurbished to a high standard.

The location of the restaurant is ideal as it is close to other venues in the Dalry area which has become a hub for local cafes and diners with many commuters and students inhabiting the zone.

The advertisement that was posted on Rightbiz reads: "Central Business Sales is Delighted to offer to the market a stunning 28 cover class 3 hot food city centre restaurant or cafe. The premises have just been fully refurbished to a very high standard.

"The restaurant is located on Dalry Road which ah become a real hub for local restaurants and cafes and with the new multimillion pound development at Haymarket about to open with a 5 star hotel, retail units and 5 office blocks this is a highly popular location with footfall set to significantly rise.

"The single front unit is in stunning condition and has a seating area to the from with a second seating area to the rear. There is a fully equipped kitchen to the rear and service area.

"All the equipment, fixtures and fitting are included in the sale. The premises can be used as a restaurant and a new owner can offer any style of cuisines or it could be used as a modern trendy cafe. There is a large potential for takeaway and delivery in the area as there is a large student population and also a premier league football stadium and international rugby stadium located in the area."
