As well known as online fashion brand Shein is for its extensive range of clothes, it has also become renowned for its more bizarre and unusual items. In recent years, the retailer has grown in popularity, amassing a whopping 7.3 million followers on TikTok alongside millions more customers.
The Chinese owned fast fashion brand updates its site with new products daily, with shoppers able to browse all sorts of new items in a variety of categories - such as beauty, women’s fashion and homeware. However, there are some sections of the site that are home to some rather peculiar buys.
From hamster slippers in its pet supplies department, to selling anti-slip finger covers and even fish-themed masks, there is no extent to the odd things shoppers can find on the website. A lot of Shein's 'weird' offerings don't go unnoticed on social media, with the hashtag 'weirdthingsonshein' reaching 1.4 million views on TikTok.
