People have been sharing the weird and wonderful sandwiches they eat.
Our story yesterday about the Connie Onnie butty (condensed milk on white bread), banana butties (with the fruit either chopped in rounds or mashed) and dripping butties (made with leftover meat dripping), inspired our readers to share their own unusual concoctions.
Memories of syrup butties were discussed as well as pear sandwiches.

Commenting on our My Wirral Facebook page, Bob Meadows recalled how his "sisters loved cheese and jam" butties.
Andy McCauley gave his verdict and offered three, he said: "Sausage and marmalade, banana and peanut butter, marmite and cheese."
Lilian Conway said: "Mum ate pears on a butty."
On our Widnes & Runcorn Weekly News page, Alison Leyland said: "Brown sauce, red sauce and salad cream together. We called them traffic light butties.
"I don't eat any of them three now never mind all together." She added: "ewwww."
Referring to sausage rolls on toast, Steve Hesketh said "Sossy roll toast."
Elizabeth Silk said: "Mashed potato and baked beans." Suzanne Lewis said: "Pickled onions on white bread."
Linda Croxton defended the brown sauce butty. She said: "I still have brown sauce butties or brown sauce on toast. I am 68 this year, not done no harm to me." To which Tracey Banner replied: "Me too, love it."
Some butties shared were perhaps more palatable. Out of these, dripping butties were a recurring favourite.
Made of dripping (the fat that melts off cooked meat) these sandwiches are still adored by many. Banana butties also got a lot of love from our readers with many suggesting them in different forms. Elaine Sherratt said: "I still eat banana and crisp."
