Weekly Cable Ratings: Fox News Returns to Top Spot in Primetime

Fox News last week bounced back to the top of the primetime charts a week after being dethroned by MSNBC, while continuing its dominance of the total day chart.

Fox News averaged 2.3 million viewers for the week of August 26-September 1, besting second-place ESPN’s 1.6 million viewers, according to Nielsen numbers supplied by Fox News.
