Weekend GAA fixtures in full with Armagh and Derry bound for Croke Park

Forgot Glastonbury, Croke Park has all the big name headliners this weekend as the quarter-finals of All-Ireland Senior Football Championship take centre stage.

There has been an almighty scramble for tickets for Sunday’s double-header featuring Armagh and Galway along with Kerry versus Mayo with over 70,000 spectators expected at Croker.

Both games will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 while Sky Sports Arena have the two Saturday quarter-finals.

Ulster champions Derry are up first as they take on Clare at 3.45pm and that game will be followed by Dublin’s clash with Cork at 6pm.

Saturday promises to be a busy day for the Oak Leaf county as their minor footballers are also in action as they face Cork in the All-Ireland MFC semi-final at Parnell Park at 1pm.

Both minor football semi-finals are live on TG4 with Kerry versus Mayo in action in Tullamore at 2.45pm.

Armagh Ladies will also seek to book their place in the knock-out stages of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship when they host Monaghan in the Athletic Grounds on Saturday afternoon while a host of Ulster counties face crucial games in the Camogie Championship.
