An abandoned manor house that once hosted weddings and birthday celebrations now sits frozen in time.
Urban explorer Nicholas Bignell recently filmed his visit to the grade II building in Liverpool for his YouTube channel UK Urbex. Nicholas said he decided not to name the exact location of the empty manor house for fear of attracting vandals.
The Victorian building was first built between 1850 and 1870 and later became home to nightclub in the 1970s, during which time the cellar was converted into a casino. It has changed hands many times over the years, later becoming a pub with a function room for weddings and birthdays before closing its doors in 2014.

Nicholas told the ECHO: “There’s photos all down the corridor of people’s weddings, and birthdays, and different celebrations. It’s nice to see it and it’s so strange because you wonder who these people are and it’s just sad to see it in that state.
“The bar is still there, there’s bottles of champagne behind the bar, it’s a bit of a time capsule. But then you go to the stable area and that’s been vandalised. It’s got an eerie feeling to it.”
Photos show the original features that remain in the building, while some of the rooms have been badly vandalised.
Trespassing on private property is dangerous and can be illegal in certain circumstances.
