A wedding guest has been slammed for wearing white to the special day but some Mumsnet users rallied round to support.
One woman took to parenting forum Mumsnet page named 'Am I being unreasonable' to question whether it was right for a wedding guest to wear white after she spotted one at a wedding she was recently at.
Keeping anonymous, she wrote: "Went to a friend's wedding yesterday, and one of the guests was there in a white dress. I've never seen this before and was a bit baffled by it! I thought this was a big no-no?"

The comments flooded in, with the post accumulating over 100 responses, with many hitting back at the guest.
One replied: "I find it bizarre. There's just no need - plenty of other colours to choose from."
A second hit back: "It really is still bad etiquette! The brides mother wearing white is totally different to a general wedding guest wearing white. Loads of other colours to chose from - wear one of those."
"I find it odd. There's no need for it", a third said.
Another added: "I would never wear white as a wedding guest, unless specifically asked and agreed with the bride beforehand it's inexcusable and terrible manners."
"I was a guest at a wedding a few weeks ago where the brides sister wore a white lace dress. I think the entitlement is staggering", a fifth fumed.
"I find it odd. There's no need for it", a third said.
But comments were split with others claiming it's old fashioned to think it's wrong to wear white.
"Most weddings I've been to there have been guests in white. Two weddings recently, one I attended, the bride's mother wore white. It's not bad etiquette anymore", one argued.
And one even shared that her sister wore her own wedding dress as a guest: "My sister wore her wedding dress to my wedding.
"I didn't mind because I was CLEARLY the bride, she asked me before and paired it with very non bridal accessories."
"I don't get the outrage, really. How can anyone "upstage" the bride and groom? Literally everyone at the wedding knows who they are and is there to celebrate their union", a third piped up.
