I really love my Weber grill. I've owned three Weber grills in my lifetime, two charcoal (and portable!) and one electric. The electric one is among the best grills I've tried for my yard, and I have big plans for using it this summer. Which brings me to the news announced yesterday: Weber is launching a lineup of smart products in 2026, all of which are smart and Wi-Fi controlled. Just when we thought grilling couldn't get any more convenient.
Among the newly released products are several smart probes and sensors, for temperature checking on any grill type. There's also the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill, which brings a new level of convenience to cooking on coal. Additionally, the Kettle Smart Ring is a new attachment for the Weber 22" charcoal grills, adding smart capabilities to this grill. They've also got big plans to update current popular grill models, including the Genesis and Spirit models.
Here's what else we know about Weber's plans for spring and summer 2026, including availability information and a nosey into what these new products will look like. Bring on grill season.
What's new?

There's one new grill launched by Weber for 2026. This is the Weber Performer Smart Charcoal Grill. This has been redesigned for 2026 and its 22" grate now has so many new and exciting features, including the ultimate smart control — an LCD Wi-Fi-enabled controller that can be used to control the grill's temperature. It can also sync with the Weber Control app, so you can control it even from inside your home.
Design-wise, it's fitted with Rapidfire Assist, which helps it heat even faster. You also get not one but two built-in probe ports to check the internal temperature of your foods, as well as one actual probe. There's a handy side table, which drops down and snaps off, for ease of cooking prep. Even better? It's on wheels for easy moving around your yard.
If you're not sure you'll use the smart additions to this grill, you can also opt for a model without them. The Performer Charcoal Grill will come with a 10-year guarantee, and you can choose from the premium model ($799 / £719), or the basic design, without the extra storage shelf, for $599 / £579.
As far as new accessories go, there are:
Last but not least, the Weber Smart Hub Display and Booster ($90) is a new-to-the-market device that's compact and works with any grill. It offers a bright LCD screen that displays a temperature reading. All you need to do is place it next to your grill to allow it to connect with wired or wireless Weber probes or sensors. This way, you can control these temperatures using this compact device, instead of having to keep your smartphone nearby. It's great if you're cooking several food items at once on your grill and need a little help.
When will it be available?
The Weber Performer Smart Charcoal Grill, the Kettle Smart Ring, and the Smart Probe and Grate Sensor will be arriving on shelves and online in Spring 2026.
All of the other accessories will be available in the summer.
What else?

They're also planning on releasing selected Genesis and Spirit grills with a brand new look, in a new colorway. These will be known as the Stealth® Editions. Think of an all-black exterior, with fierce red accents and black stainless-steel details.
The Genesis grills will be available in propane and natural gas options, and you can choose from 3 burners or 4. Prices will start at $999.
As far as the Spirit grills go, prices begin at $599, while you can pick a 3-burner grill or a 4-burner option.
Both of these new designs are set to launch in spring 2026.
